Marinho started in the construction industry in 2006 with experience in bolstering organization efficiency while ensuring adherence to safety and health regulations on pipeline projects, leading numerous safety and health training programs in both English and Spanish, and evaluating and optimizing existing safety and health systems and processes. As Regional Safety Manager with Garney Construction, Marinho oversees safety on various projects across the Eastern region and assists projects in understanding OSHA regulations and standards including OSHA compliance. This consists of inspecting and evaluating job site environments, equipment, and practices to comply with safety standards and government regulations. Marinho recommends measures to help protect workers on job sites from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. Marinho also spearheads Garney’s Construction SSTOP training program developing and updating yearly mandatory safety training for all new hires and reviewing other educational programs.
