James Wiedow, CPEA, is corporate EHS manager for NSI Industries, LLC, a manufacturer of products for the electrical, building technology and HVAC industries. Wiedow is a regional EHS professional with 30 years of experience working for the personal care products, chemical, healthcare, medical device, television, and food manufacturing businesses. He has inspected plants in 31 U.S. states, affording him the opportunity to identify a range of safety, environmental, fire and emergency management issues—and familiarize himself with several state OSHA programs. He was a 2016 recipient of the J.J. Keller Safety Professional of the Year (SPOTY) award.
