Call for Speakers

EHS Today’s Safety Leadership Conference is the premier education and networking opportunity for leaders in occupational safety and health, compliance and risk management. The 2025 Safety Leadership Conference will be held October 20-22, 2025, at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Resort & SpaAll proposals must be submitted no later than February 21, 2025.

2025 Track Topics

Risk Management

Insights and best practices on improving an organization’s safety culture, focusing on the role of safety leadership at both the local and organizational level. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):
• Establishing and maintaining a culture of safety
• The role of safety professionals in ESG (environmental, social and governance)
• Ergonomics
• Building effective safety teams
• Reducing musculoskeletal disorder injuries
• Wellness & Total Worker Health
• Use of safety data and analytics to predict and manage incidents.

Regulatory Compliance

Speakers in this track offer their insights into what safety leaders need to know to ensure their organizations remain in compliance with the latest rules and regulations. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):
• What to do when OSHA investigates your company
• Workplace drug testing
• The changing regulatory climate and what you need to know
• Workers’ compensation
• Environmental requirements
• Using safety management systems and other technologies to improve compliance reporting​​​​​​

The ROI of Safety

• Diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) initiatives
• Mental health awareness
• The use of technologies (AI, microlearning, virtual reality) to enhance safety training
• Workplace violence
• Women in safety
• Suicide prevention

How to Submit a Proposal

Follow the link below to fill out the online form. You will be prompted to choose the conference track that your session should be listed under. You may enter multiple speaking proposals. We welcome submissions from consultants or vendors as well, but such proposals will only be considered if paired with a co-presenter from a manufacturing company. What's Included with a Speaking Engagement

As a speaker, you receive one (1) complimentary Full Conference Pass to the Safety Leadership Conference, your name published on promotional material, website, and program; recognized as a leader in the occupational health and safety community, and discounted conference rate for your colleagues. SLC does not cover presenters’ travel expenses or accommodations. Submit your proposal by February 21, 2025.
